Can Nonoba's APIs be used to create an MMO?
Does the game have to open to the lobby each time a user accesses the game? This would seem to hamper the transition from an embedded page such as MySpace directly into the game.

Yes you can make an MMO, I am in the process of doing so right now.

Unfortunately the lobby does need to be used every time, but if you use the Nonoba embed code then the lobby and game are all self-contained in the same SWF with no loading needed.

I wish that we could choose to disable the lobby, or at least get to choose several static instance names/configurations for users to join, but unfortunately that is not possible at this time.

I suggest you would write an additional back-end for example on Google App Engine and host your world data on it.
