Resetting Achievements?

When trying out if the achievements are working or not on my game, I noticed a serious bug and got more achievements that I should of have. The bug is fixed though, so I hope no one would encounter it, but I'd like to reset my own achievements since it doesn't make any sense. :D

Is that possible? Thanks :)

Do the achievements get reset when you go "live" with the game ?

(I'm guessing no based on what I've read here")

Would it be feasible for me to delete all the achievements and then recreate them before I go "live" to zero them out ?

I'm not worried about deleting my achievements earned during testing, but will this mess anything up ?

If you delete an achievement from a game, the users that got that achievement will still have it. The idea behind this was that if a game changes, the users who got the old set of achievements will still have them and can brag about them, even though it's not possible to get them anymore.

It's still not possible to get more than 100XP from a game, even though the point total of old and new achievements is higher than 100.

The answer to your question is no. :-)

Thanks Henrik.

So.. are you saying that I can remove my existing achievements on a game, and then add new achievements to my games even though I've already used the 100xp with the current achievements ?

So, it is no more than 100xp available at one time ?

No, a game may not hand out more than 100XP to each user, but the total sum of achievements over the existence of the game may be more than 100XP.

Ok.. sorry for asking more :) just want to clarify.

So... If someone earns 100xp from my game and I replace the game with new achievements -- they can earn the achievements (icons) but they will not get any exp from them

but.... someone who has not earned any exp from the previous achievements will be able to earn exp from them.

Yes and yes.

Achievements are two things: First, a badge of honour that you get to show off on your profile, and secondly, a means to get Nonoba Player XP.
