Yes, in MakeMultiplayer you can defined an IP to connect to.

It's the same thing, I prefer testing with my friends on multiple machines in the development server. I tried placing my IP instead of the localhost text but I get this error.

Connection to 77.245.X.XXX:8184 halted - not permitted from http://c.nonoba.com/f/633880237760000000/2/SWF/apias3mp.X00ESXVe5cQlfITKYMTJXTha2UM.swf
Anything I can do? I even changed my publish settings to "Access network only" but that too didn't work.
